why is there more in the news about the collapsed minnesotan bridge where 9 people died than there is about the floods in south asia, where millions of people are awaiting relief?

tell me about it. i now have a much better picture of the hopelessness many of those displaced and lost via heavy monsoons must be at this point. Most families in those rural farming areas won't have a back up plan now that they've lost their land and home. Most won't have a richer uncle to stay with in the city until they get back up on their feet. And those stories won't be written about, though they will live them for the next months, years even. talk to you soon
